My name is Johann Kunz. I am from Germany, currently based in Marseille (FR) / Saarbrücken (DE) and working worldwide. I have been documenting stories as a journalist, filmmaker, and photographer since 2018.
Following a Master’s in Political Science and a professional traineeship at German Public Television (ARD), I chose to bridge the gap between classical reportage and cinematic art. I founded orbita media as my working brand which, eventually, allowed me to merge the precision of journalism with the power of visual storytelling.
